Privacy Policy

Last updated: 9 September 2026

VetroCore ("VetroCore", "we", "us") provides an AI gameplay-coaching service at vetrocore.com. This policy explains what we collect, why, who else sees it, and what you can do about it.

We are based in Nepal. You can reach us at support@vetrocore.com.

This policy describes what the service does today. We will update it when that changes, and the date above will change with it.

The short version

You sign in with Google. You upload short gameplay clips. Those clips are stored by Cloudinary and sent to Google's Gemini AI, which writes the coaching feedback you read. We keep your clips, your feedback and your progress so the service works.

We do not sell your data, we do not run advertising, and we do not buy information about you from anyone.

1. What we collect

Your account

When you sign in with Google we receive, and store:

  • your name (used as your display name, which you can change)
  • your email address
  • your Google profile picture
  • your Google account identifier

We never receive or store your Google password. Sign-in happens on Google's systems, not ours.

Things you tell us

Optional, and entirely up to you:

  • your in-game name or player ID
  • your rank
  • which games you play
  • what you want to improve at
  • a short bio
  • how you heard about us

Your gameplay clips

This is the most important thing we handle, so it gets its own section below. In short: we store the video you upload, along with its dimensions, the game it belongs to, and the coaching feedback our AI produces from it.

Your progress

Because VetroCore is built around improvement over time, we record:

  • experience points and level
  • login and upload streaks
  • clips analysed
  • achievements and badges unlocked, and cosmetic themes equipped
  • the weakness tags that appear most often in your feedback, so Vetro can refer back to them
  • a history of when points were awarded and why

Some of this is public. Your display name, avatar, and total experience points appear on the leaderboard, which anyone can view.

Technical information

Our hosting and error-monitoring providers automatically record standard information when you use the site: IP address, browser and device type, pages requested, timestamps, and details of any errors. We use this to keep the service running and to find bugs.

If you upload without an account

You can analyse one clip without signing in. When you do, your browser generates a random session identifier so we can show you the result. That identifier is not linked to a name or email — we do not know who you are.

2. What we do not collect

We are listing these because privacy policies often claim them by default, and we want to be specific about what is actually true.

  • No payment information. VetroCore is free. We do not process payments and hold no card or bank details.
  • No passwords. Google sign-in only.
  • No advertising or tracking cookies. Our only cookie keeps you signed in.
  • No data purchased from brokers, marketing partners or public databases.
  • No precise location. Our providers may infer a rough country from your IP address. We do not use GPS.
  • No game-publisher API data. We do not connect to Riot Games' API, Krafton's, or any other. Everything we know about your gameplay comes from clips you upload and details you type in yourself.

3. Your gameplay clips

When you upload a clip, this is what happens to it:

  1. It is uploaded directly from your browser to Cloudinary, which stores it and serves it back to you.
  2. We record a row in our database with the clip's address, size, dimensions and which game it is.
  3. The clip is downloaded to our server and uploaded to Google's Gemini API, which watches it and returns written feedback.
  4. That feedback is stored alongside the clip so you can read it again later.

Please be careful what is in frame. A clip may capture more than gameplay — voice chat, a Discord overlay, other players' names, a stream overlay showing your own or someone else's real identity. Everything visible or audible in the video is uploaded and processed as part of the video. Only upload footage you have the right to share.

Who can see a clip

A clip page is reachable by anyone who has its link. The address contains a long random identifier, so it is not guessable and it is not listed anywhere, in our sitemap or otherwise. But it is not private in the sense that a signed-in-only page would be: if you share the link, anyone holding it can open the clip and its feedback. Treat sharing a roast as making it public.

AI analysis and model training

Clips are analysed by Google's Gemini API. Your clip and the instructions we send with it are transmitted to and processed by Google.

We do not use your clips to train any model of our own. We may look at overall patterns across many users — for example, which weaknesses come up most often — to improve the coaching prompts, but that work uses aggregated counts, not your individual footage or identity.

4. Why we use your information

  • To create your account and keep you signed in
  • To analyse your clips and show you the feedback
  • To track your progress, streaks and achievements, and to place you on the leaderboard
  • To let Vetro refer back to weaknesses you have shown before
  • To keep the service working: diagnosing errors, preventing abuse, and enforcing the usage limits described in our Terms of Use
  • To respond when you contact us

If you are in the UK or EU, our legal bases are: performing our contract with you (running the service), our legitimate interests (keeping it secure and improving it), and your consent where we ask for it. You can withdraw consent at any time.

5. Who else handles your data

We use the following providers. Each one only receives what it needs.

ProviderWhat it handlesWhere

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect someone's safety or our legal rights. If VetroCore is ever sold or merged, information may transfer with the business, and we will say so here first.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

6. International transfers

We are based in Nepal and our providers operate globally, so your information will be processed outside your own country, including in the United States. Where required, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards through our providers' own terms.

7. How long we keep things

  • Account information and clips — for as long as you have an account.
  • Clips uploaded without an account — deleted 48 hours after upload, along with the stored video.
  • Error and server logs — retained by our providers on their standard schedules, typically weeks rather than years.

When you delete your account we remove your record and your clips. Copies may persist briefly in backups before those rotate out.

8. Your rights

Wherever you live, you can:

  • See your data. Settings → export gives you a copy of everything we hold.
  • Delete it. Settings → delete account removes your account and clips.
  • Correct it. Edit your profile at any time.
  • Ask us. Email support@vetrocore.com with any request.

Depending on where you live — including the UK, EU, Switzerland, Canada, and a number of US states — you may also have the right to object to or restrict how we use your information, to receive it in a portable format, to appeal a refusal, and to complain to your data protection authority. In the UK that is the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

We respond to requests within 30 days. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we will only use what you send us for that purpose.

We honour Global Privacy Control signals. Because there is no agreed standard for Do Not Track browser signals, we do not respond to those.

9. Security

We use signed, time-limited upload links so clips can only be written by the person they were issued to, we restrict database access to our own servers, and we store no passwords. Sign-in and all traffic run over HTTPS.

No service can promise perfect security, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. If we ever discover a breach affecting your information, we will tell you.

10. Children

VetroCore is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you are under 18, you need a parent or guardian's permission to use the service.

If you believe a child under 13 has given us information, email support@vetrocore.com and we will delete it.

11. Changes

We will update this policy when the service changes. The date at the top will change with it, and for anything significant we will show a notice in the app.
